16 months and growing

Opps missed the 16month post so here it goes....
Thus far Allison is a good eater and sleeper. She is talking more and more these days and has started to string two words together. She also knows about 6 different animal sounds and about 7 or 8 body parts when you ask her where they are. Every day she makes me laugh with some funny face or noise she discovers. Lately we have been playing more with our cousins Brodie and Brooke. Today we had a play date which was much better then last weeks play date. Again no pictures; sorry.
As for an update on Josh and I we will be celebrating our Third anniversary on Wednesday. We went out to dinner last week since we were not sure what mother nature was going to do for us this year. Time flys by too fast. But we are well in health and every thing else.

One chapter finished and a new one beginning

Well yesterday I had my exit interview over at Chapman University(Brandman) because I have completed my course work for my Special Education Credential!I will still have to attended classes to clear my level two but the clock does not start ticking until I get a job in the classroom. I am currently looking for one but with budget cuts and layoffs I will most likely stay with Kaleidoscope (my current employer). I love being home three days a week and currently our finances are okay but it would nice to be ahead a little bit. I am excited to have one chapter done and move on to the next one.
Speaking of new chapters I have decided to complete my communion and confirmation in the Catholic church as well as have Allison baptized in the church. There are still some kinks to be worked out with Josh being in Madera for work for the next three months but it is still exciting to get things going on this.
I am still lagging behind on getting my camera fixed and that is why my posts have no pictures. But I will get some posted soon. I promise

A busy weekend and a loney time ahead

Since Friday things have been busy with the Marchy Family. After work on Friday I picked up Brodie (my nephew) who was stay with his uncle because his mommy; my SIL was in the hospital getting ready to bring into the world Brooke Rose. Brooke showed her pretty face around 11pm and is cute as can be. (although we have not seen her in person because the hospital is on lock down because of the H1N1 virus.) However they are home and adjusting to being a family of four. We hope to go over sometime soon and visit little Brooke in person.
Also on Friday night we went over to my MIL house to dye Easter eggs. My mom, aunt Ern, Danyon, Brodie , Allison and my self made quite the mess on Grandma Bern's kitchen table. Allison had a blast and went in with both hands to get those eggs dyed. (I will post pictures at a later date; again still have not got my camera fixed)
Saturday, Grandma Bern and I took the kiddos up to the hills to the annual Easter in the Hills. This function came about through cousin Lori. The kiddos had fun and Allison understood that she was to find things but when the grass kept tickling her in the face she was afraid to stick her hand down to grab what she found. It was a little chilly but it warmed up later and we enjoyed time with friends and family.
On Sunday morning Allison's eyes glowed with excitement when she saw what the Easter Bunny had left for her; a basket full of Micky and Minnie Mouse stuff...Seeing her reaction made my morning. Next year will be even more exciting. After breakfast with Daddy we head back to the Marchy Ranch to celebrate with family. It was supper cold but Allison had fun running around with her cousins (Aunt Theresa and her crew joined us this year from Fall River; which was a surprise to some)
Josh and John have begin to start a job down in Madera (close to Fresno). Allison will most likely not be able to see her dad until the weekends as he will have to leave and will return when she is asleep. I have had to deal with the long hours of a farmer but this will be the first time I will have to take care of someone other than myself. I know we will be fine but we will miss our dad time.
