Easter 2011

Since it has been a while since I posted lets start with the most current activity...Easter!
This year we were still un able to take a photo with the Easter bunny but we knew that he was leaving us a surprise that morning.

The day before we had a Easter Party with some of the neighbor kiddos that Grandma Bernice hosted and needless to say I forgot my camera in the house and was too lazy to walk across the field to get it....

Easter Morning! ( he left something in the house...)

And he left something outside her bedroom window!

(her and daddy were going to see what it was)

Tinker Bell!

Playing with her surprises

That afternoon family came to the ranch for lunch

(Allison and Daddy taking a swing)

Hunting eggs in the field

Look Mommy Eggs!

That same afternoon like it has been for the last three years that I can remember; we had our annual trap shoot

(Josh, Ovo and Aunt Jenn shooting)

And after a long weekend of fun in the sun....Allison and cousin Danyon had a moment trying to look for turtles in Grandma's pond

Every year cousin Lori and Bob host Easter in the Hills for friends and family up in Linden. Easter egg hunting, lunch and a trap shoot

The Kiddos!

Silly Alli Cat!

Trying to document a family moment...but as you can see we had to be cranky about it

Allison got the opportunity to ride a horse for the first time. She loved it and didn't want to get off even though the horse was a little nervous towards the end of her ride

Sittin' in the grass having our first taste of licorice

Baby #2

Baby Marchy #2 Due Aug. 8, 2011

14 weeks
( I started to show alittle sooner than this but just got around to taking a photo. I started my photos with Allison when I was 17 weeks along)
*140lbs
*Wearing some maternity tops but still too small for the pants; using the belly band to help in that department
*Upgraded to the next size up in Bra's ( way earlier that I remember with Allison)
Hungry all the time for sweet stuff ( cereal and candy)

Today I am 17 weeks and I have not taken a photo yet. I have been trying to stay healthy through this winter but after Allison was over her cold I caught it plus a nasty sinus infection. I will post more when we get back from our trip to Texas that we leave for on Wednesday. When we come back we have our 18week appointment and that is when she will give us a US appointment to determine the sex of this kiddo

Christmas 2010 and Allison's 2nd Birthday

Christmas 2010

Our last Christmas in our home in Salida....preparations are being made forour new house at the ranch. We will hopefully be able to move in by the end of Feb (look for a furture post)

Grandma Bernice bought Allison her first lawn ornament!

Allison's 2nd Birthday and Baptisim

Allison also celebrated her birthday with her extended family at my dad's home but this is the only picture I can find and I cant seem to flip it
We had a small gathering this year to celebrate Allison turning Two....With the weather we were limited to a small number of places since our home was not finished. But it was still a great party and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves

Allison's first Hand Turkey that she made in school. When the teacher gave it to me to take home I almost cried.

This year we opted out on the annual Pismo Thanksgiving and stayed home. With grandma bernice still not able to walk and plans on our house progressing it was just best to stay home

Halloween 2010 and a little extra

To start off this picture has nothing to do with the rest. Allison was being silly one morning before school and I thought this was super cute!

This year Kaliedoscope ( the company I work for) arranged a mini field trip for our kiddos to get out of their homes and experience alittle of what was going on. Any chance I get I try to take Allison with me to interact with the kiddos that I and my other co workers help.

Miss Allison and Miss Hayven

We apparently needed a wagon....

Every year Pam Harmon ( PMZ realtor and family member) puts together a fall party. She and her family make their front yard into a pumpkin patch and BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs. This year it was just Mommy and Allison as Daddy was trying to get a job done due to rain.

And off she goes

Down the slide on her own!

"Do I have to sit here and take a picture?"

"Oh Well...Cheese!"

Several weeks again Allison started having issues sleeping. She only wanted to fall asleep on the couch and then once she was totaly passed out you could put her back in her crib. But she would wake up about 4am screaming for someone. So after several nights of that we decided that maybe it was time to convert her crib to the toddler bed. She loves to playing in it ( as you a can see below) and I can get her to fall asleep in it but we are still having issues with sleeping through the night in it. Hope fully she will get used to it and sleep like she use to before the big move comes and we have to make another change in her life.

Trick or Treat!.... I am not in the mood to deal with teenage crazy kids going door to door getting candy so when we moved in to our home we never have done the Halloween thing. We have always had dinner out at the Ranch with family and enjoyed the neighbor kids trick or treating. But because it was Allison's first Halloween where she could talk and enjoy it we took her to some family and friends before it got dark and cold.
